The Oxford & Cambridge Club, founded in 1830, is an exclusive private members club situated in the heart of London.

It is very British, perhaps best described as a cross between Downton Abbey and the Monopoly board game. Situated on Pall Mall it is a short walk to Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, Bond and Oxford Street and two huge parks (St James and Green Park). There are also many famous English stores as well as world-renowned museums nearby.

My wife and I stayed at the club last summer and it was a wonderful experience. We invited friends for lunch at the elegant dining room and the food and service were outstanding. The club has a strict dress code and a jacket & tie are mandatory for lunch and dinner.

The club has more than 40 bedrooms and we stayed in a beautiful double room with all the modern facilities expected of a first class hotel. The cost of this room was about half the rate of a stay at a local upmarket hotel.

The club has two dining rooms, two bars, a library, a drawing room, and its own sports facilities.

An interesting fact is that membership is very exclusive in that it is restricted to only those who are members of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, including those who have a degree from or who are current undergraduates of either university.

The Oxford & Cambridge Club is one of many world-class clubs our members have access to. If you are traveling to London, I strongly encourage you to visit this incredible club.
